New Mexico Infrastructure Project
|
SmartDitch will be used to repair miles of damaged concrete. |
When Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico unveiled his Governor's Initiative for Water Conservation, he sought fresh, innovative ideas to help solve a pressing problem in his state. Old, retreaded, ineffective ideas such as concrete were not welcome. One of the leading products chosen to help solve New Mexico's water issues was SmartDitch liners.
Working with the Pueblo Acoma reservation and the Department of the Interior, the state has found a cost-effective solution to repair miles of broken and decayed concrete ditch with a product that will save millions of gallons of water per year. Check back soon for updates on this important initiative!
